By accessing or using the IMPDF.app website and services (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). IMPDF.app provides a suite of free online PDF tools that allow users to convert, edit, merge, split, compress, organize, and secure PDF documents, as well as convert between various file formats. Our Services also include AI-powered tools for document summarization, translation, text extraction, and intelligent analysis.

Our Services are provided free of charge for both personal and commercial use. We support our platform through non-intrusive advertising. No registration is required to use our tools, though we may offer optional account features in the future.

We strive to provide accurate, reliable, and high-quality results, but we do not guarantee that the output of any tool will be error-free, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. Users are responsible for reviewing and verifying the results of any processing performed through our Services.

You agree to use our Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to use the Services in any way that violates any applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation.

3.1 Permitted Use

• Process documents you have lawful authorization to handle
• Use the tools in quantities reasonable for individual or small team use
• Share links to our tools with others who may benefit from them

3.2 Prohibited Use

You are prohibited from:

• Using the Services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Processing documents that contain illegal content, including but not limited to child exploitation material, content that promotes terrorism or violence, or content that infringes on intellectual property rights
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Services, other accounts, computer systems, or networks connected to the Services
• Using automated scripts, bots, or scraping tools to access the Services in a manner that exceeds reasonable use or places excessive load on our infrastructure
• Interfering with or disrupting the integrity or performance of the Services
• Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any aspect of the Services
• Using the Services to process documents that contain malware, viruses, or other harmful code
• Reselling, sublicensing, or redistributing the Services without prior written consent

We reserve the right to terminate or restrict your access to the Services at any time, without notice, for any conduct that we, in our sole discretion, believe violates these Terms, is harmful to other users of the Services, or is harmful to IMPDF.app, its affiliates, or third parties.

The Services and all associated content, features, and functionality — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software — are the exclusive property of IMPDF.app or its licensors and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

4.1 Our Intellectual Property

The IMPDF.app name, logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of IMPDF.app or its affiliates. You may not use such marks without our prior written permission. The look and feel of the Services, including all page headers, custom graphics, button icons, and scripts, is our service mark, trademark, and/or trade dress and may not be copied, imitated, or used without our prior written permission.

4.2 Your Content

You retain all rights to the documents you upload to our Services. By uploading files, you grant IMPDF.app a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to process your files solely for the purpose of providing the requested tool functionality. This license terminates automatically when your files are deleted from our servers. We do not claim any ownership rights over your documents, and we will not use your documents for any purpose other than providing the Services you have requested.

4.3 Output Files

You own the output files generated by our Services from your uploaded documents. We do not claim any rights to the output files. However, you are responsible for ensuring that your use of the output files complies with all applicable laws, including intellectual property laws. IMPDF.app is not responsible for any intellectual property infringement that may result from the use of our tools on documents you do not have the right to process.

OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that: (a) the Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free; (b) the results obtained from the use of the Services will be accurate, reliable, or complete; (c) the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you through the Services will meet your expectations; or (d) any errors in the Services will be corrected.

You understand and agree that your use of the Services is at your sole risk. Any material or data downloaded or otherwise obtained through the use of the Services is done at your own discretion and risk, and you will be solely responsible for any damage to your computer system or loss of data that results from the download of any such material.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL IMPDF.APP, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM: (A) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICES; (B) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICES; (C) ANY CONTENT OBTAINED FROM THE SERVICES; OR (D) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT.

IN NO EVENT SHALL THE TOTAL LIABILITY OF IMPDF.APP TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICES EXCEED THE AMOUNT OF ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO IMPDF.APP IN THE PRECEDING TWELVE MONTHS, WHICHEVER IS GREATER. SINCE OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE, THIS LIMITATION SHALL APPLY TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities, so the above limitations may not apply to you. In such cases, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless IMPDF.app and its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, suppliers, and any third-party information providers from and against all losses, expenses, damages, costs, claims, and demands, including reasonable attorneys' fees and related costs and expenses, arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Services; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law or regulation; or (d) your violation of any rights of a third party, including intellectual property rights.

IMPDF.app reserves the right, at its own expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, and in such case, you agree to cooperate with our defense of such claim.

When you use our Services, you upload files to our servers for processing. By uploading files, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Your files will be temporarily stored on our servers for the purpose of processing your request
• All uploaded files and processed results are automatically deleted from our servers within 2 hours of processing completion
• We are not responsible for any loss of data resulting from the automatic deletion of files after the retention period
• You should download your processed files promptly after they become available
• There is a maximum file size limit for each tool, which may vary depending on the specific tool and processing requirements
• We reserve the right to refuse processing of any file that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe may be harmful to our systems

We strive to provide continuous, uninterrupted access to our Services. However, access to the Services may be interrupted from time to time for maintenance, updates, or other reasons beyond our control. We do not guarantee that the Services will be available at any particular time or that access will be uninterrupted.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time, including the availability of any feature, database, or content, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Services.

Our Services may contain links to third-party websites, services, or resources that are not owned or controlled by IMPDF.app. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. You acknowledge and agree that IMPDF.app shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of or reliance on any such content, goods, or services available on or through any such third-party websites or services.

We strongly advise you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of any third-party websites or services that you visit.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules, or in the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.

Before initiating any legal proceedings, you agree to first contact us at the contact information provided below and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will attempt to resolve any dispute through good-faith negotiation for a period of at least 30 days before either party initiates arbitration or legal proceedings.

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish its objectives to the greatest extent possible under applicable law, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. The failure of IMPDF.app to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and IMPDF.app regarding the use of the Services, superseding any prior agreements between you and IMPDF.app relating to your use of the Services.
